When should I place an order
As a rough guide…
Save the Dates: Send out 9-12 months before your wedding day, 12-18 months if your wedding is abroad.
Invitations: Send out 4-6 months before your wedding day, with an RSVP date of at least 6 weeks prior
to the wedding, at the latest. 8-12 months if your wedding is abroad.
On The Day Stationery: You’ll need to place your order at least 8 weeks (6 weeks at the very latest) before the wedding day to allow plenty of time to collate your details, design, proof, print and deliver in time for your wedding day.
How many wedding invitations do I need ?
Remember that usually couples and families go on the same invite so you only need 1 invite per household, not per guest.
Make sure you add around 5-10 extra for spare. You might make a mistake writing them out or decide to invite others last minute if some guests can’t make it.
After receiving your order and your wedding guest list increases, unlike other companies Sentiments will accommodate you and wont require you to place a minimum order – so if you only need 5 invitations more Sentiments will take an order for that amount.
When should my RSVP date be ?
It is recommended you put your RSVP date at least 6 weeks before your wedding day.
You will need to place your order for any On the Day stationery 4 weeks before the wedding at the latest, so this gives you 2 weeks to get everything together, chase any late replies, work out your final guest list and arrange a seating plan if needed (do not underestimate how long that can take!) at which point you can place your order in time.
6 weeks before your wedding there will be a lot on your plate with everything coming together rapidly as you get closer to the wedding day.
You’ll want to give yourself plenty of time, plan ahead where you can and not leave things until last minute causing unnecessary wedding stress.
If you are super organised, sending your invites out well in advance, then of course you can put your RSVP date earlier than 6 weeks.
Another thing to consider, which may affect this date, is when your venue needs to know final guest numbers.
Where do I include Menu options
If you are ordering RSVP’s
If you select RSVP’s with envelopes, then we can use the back of the card to detail the menu options and ask guests to write their names next to their preferred choice.
If you are not ordering RSVP’s
Menu options can go inside left of a folded card or on a separate info card.
Then guests can reply with their choices by your chosen RSVP method of email/text/post etc.
If you want to email me your menu options beforehand then I can take a look at how much room they will need, and advise what the best option to go for is.
Do you create Bespoke Designs ?
If you see something you like, but colours or fonts aren’t quite right then do get in touch as I can change certain elements of a design.
Simply just changing the background colour can often be enough to bring another tone into an existing collection to make it work for you. These changes are free of charge.
Alternatively if you like the style but want something completely unique, then I can create a bespoke design from €25 to €50 design fee. The design fee is on top of the printed stationery prices.
Just contact me with as much detail as possible about what you’re after and colours and your plans for scheme/décor etc. and I can advise and we can go from there.
Do you have ceremony booklet templates
All occasions are catered for – just contact me with the details of what you want and your personalised frame will be created for you.
